Network Engineer with strong experience in network engineering and governance combined with experience working within Windows environments needed urgently for 12 month contract with our Engineering client based in Fife
This role is Inside IR35 so the engagement would be via Umbrella company
Essential Skills:
* A Good knowledge of Firewall principles including; Port Forwarding, Site to Site VPN Configuration.
* A Good Knowledge of Switch Configuration including an understanding of Port aggregation, VLAN's, L2 and L3 Routing.
* Knowledge of WiFi Access Point and Airwave Interaction would be beneficial.
*Expert in routing and switching - CISCO IOS and NX-OS knowledge is required
*Demonstrated knowledge of firewall and Intrusion Detection Systems.
*Experience of configuring and troubleshooting VoIP, DNS, IPAM, VPN & IPSec, BGP & OSPF routing, load balancers, optimisation technologies and proxies in an enterprise environment.
Desirable
* Experience of working in an organization with Global interactions.
* Understanding of Backups and Backup methodologies for virtual and physical Systems:
* Experience of working with System Monitoring.
