Head Resourcing is currently recruiting for a Junior QA Software Tester to join our client based in Edinburgh who are an exciting start-up, bringing a transformational product to the market. Our client is a customer-led business that is creating a tool that generates tangible value for all, supported by an executive team with a passion for helping people and a proven track record of creating successful online communities and digital ventures.
Responsibilities:
*Explore and understand the application under test and its context
*Identify issues and risks within the application
*Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities
*Identify, record, document, and track bugs
*Perform manual and automated testing
*Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
*Work within the Microsoft Azure DevOps environment
Must haves:
*Strong problem-solving skills
*Knowledge of Software QA methodologies, tools and processes
*The ability to work as part of a team, as well as under your own direction
*Be self-motivated and team-orientated with a passion for developing high-quality software
*Good verbal and written communication skills
*Exceptional attention to detail
Nice to haves:
*Previous testing experience
*Experience working in Agile/Scrum development processes
*Cross browser / mobile testing experience
