Head Resourcing are recruiting for a new an IT Business Analyst to join a rapidly expanding house building company in Edinburgh. You will join a small dynamic team responsible for delivering solutions to satisfy a growing business demand for IT. As a Business Analyst in the IT Solutions team your focus is on application management and support for existing applications as well as the software delivery lifecycle for new solutions. You will be responsible for the management of maintenance and enhancements to applications that are developed both in-house and externally by third parties.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience with the following:
- Experience working as an IT BA with exposure to creating and carrying out test plans.
- Experienced at gathering and understanding business needs and translating these into IT system requirements
- Comfortable building and nurturing relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions that support real business improvement.
- Exposure to Microsoft technologies, Eque2 Housebuilding, Evision or Salesforce would be desirable but not essential
- You will be part of a new team within the business so a candidate who is happy to work in a new and challenging environment is ideal.
About the candidate
The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual focused on contributing to the overall success of the IT team and their individual growth, with excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative, organising your workload day to day. Ideally you are educated to degree level or equivalent, perhaps with the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis.
