Our client is an interesting Software Company currently recruiting for a Infrastructure Support Analyst. Joining a small team in a rapidly expanding organisation, an initial 6 month contract will be offered OUTSIDE IR35. The role will be based in the Edinburgh office 4-5 days a week.
Working as part of the Infrastructure Support Team you will provide hands on support and maintenance, from 1st line desktop through to some 3rd Line server and network (with support and guidance where ever required).
This is a great opportunity for someone to learn and progress their experience with an opportunity to be involved in a number of upcoming projects including migrating to Microsoft 365.
Key responsibilities and experience will include:
* Supporting IT services - Windows desktop and Server, VMWare ESXi, Linux (various flavours)
* Office hardware support - Desktop/laptop, Printers, Access Points
* User account management - Windows, M365, Google Suite
* Support and admin of Virtual Machine Environments (ESXi)
* Knowledge of Cisco Meraki Firewall and Switches
* Awareness of IT security frameworks and necessary requirements for functional, physical and data security.
* Work with highly technical and skilled workforce in rapidly changing business environment.
* Knowledge of Active Directory: Accounts and policies
* Ability to work on own initiative and keen to learn new skills
