Role: Information Analyst - 12 Month FTC
Location: Remote (office visit once every 2-3 weeks) Flexible Working
Salary: £41-45k DOE + Benefits.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information Analyst to join a global leader in the supply of engineering equipment, who are renowned for their excellence and have a reputation as a technical leader across the wide array of industries they supply into.

Working as part of the Smart Records project team, you will support the process for the digitisation of physical records, and the enhancement of digital data, to optimise the search experience for the companies aftermarket organisation globally.

Accountabilities:
*Assist with the creation of enterprise taxonomies and meta-data
standards that optimises the search experience for users
*Assist with the creation and delivery of a digitisation plan for each Business Unit (BU)
*To support all BUs in the process of identifying physical records used by the Aftermarket function and the local options for the digitisation of this information
*To support all BUs in the process of identifying digital records used by the Aftermarket function, and to catalogue all data/document storage systems, file types, document types and meta-data entities
*To support all BUs in the process of digital record enhancement to optimise the users search experience.

Essential Skills:
*Understand data governance concepts
*Understand data/information management and optimised search concepts
*Possess analytical skills and can oversee and understand complex business processes, information structures/classification, and unstructured data sets
*Can communicate effectively across organisational and technical boundaries, understanding the context of use
*Can make complex technical information and language, simple and accessible for a non-technical audience
*Good communicator and collaborator, comfortable working across time zones with multinational colleagues
*Experience of the Microsoft 365 platform (Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive)
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Visio

Desirable Skills:
*Understand information security concepts and technology
*Experience of SQL/Access
*Experience of ASP.NET, JSON technologies
*Experience of SharePoint Online technologies
*Experience of designing online information management systems
*Understand Microsoft Common Data Model
