In this role you will own and drive the strategy for Payments and FX across commercial banking to help further build upon their existing market leading capabilities and products. You will be a key figure in helping define the strategy road map and influencing the organisations response to Open Banking opportunities and risks, while helping enable deliver the right solutions to their commercial banking customers. In this leadership role you will take accountability for the payment's domestic, wholesale and international transactions business, in addition to FX flows across all Commercial Banking segments and the cash management needs of specialist sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help define and build a market winning strategy across payments
- Take ownership of the full product lifecycle for payment and transactional suite of products
- Ensure that product strategies meet the need of customers and that they are commercially sustainable
- Build insights into the performance of the product suite to help identify opportunities, risks, and threats
- Own the customer product journey to help provide exceptional customer experiences and operational performance
Skills required:
- You will have proven experience in a commercial banking environment with comprehensive knowledge of the payments industry
- The ability to shape and drive new strategies with a product focus
- Experience of working with executive stakeholders and senior 3rd parties such as regulatory bodies to help shape industry regulations
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and gain buy in from senior stakeholders.
- An understanding of technology, market, and regulatory developments and how they will affect various business scenarios
