Reporting directly to our clients CIO, the Head of Infrastructure Service Delivery is a key leadership position in the CIO structure. This role is critical to the delivery of the our clients IT Infrastructure that serves both customers and colleagues. This role will manage a team who work closely with our clients technology suppliers and internal teams to plan, implement and maintain the daily operation of a stable technical infrastructure to support business processes. You would be accountable for the end to end operation of; Mainframe and Mid-range platforms, data centre and communications, core banking platforms, cloud services, service management and collaboration tools (Citrix), along with being accountable for setting the strategic direction of the infrastructure to run the bank.
We would like applicant to have:
*Sound knowledge of one or more of the infrastructure or platform technologies listed above in your current role and operating at a similar level.
*A great practitioner in Cloud transformation, especially moving the environment away from on Prem to the Cloud
*Excellent influencing and persuasion skills with the ability to enthuse and inspire multidisciplinary teams and build successful relationships at all levels
*Clear decision-making ability with the facility to judge complex situations and assess when to escalate issues
You would also be accountable for setting the strategic direction of the infrastructure to run the bank, so the potential to build and develop culture, build strong stakeholder relationships, and become a SME leader is key in this role.
