Your new company

Your new company is a commercial company, operating on a not-for-profit basis, whose members include all the major drinks suppliers and retailers in Scotland such as Coke, Pepsi, Lidl, Aldi, etc. Having been approved the company is now building the infrastructure necessary to create a leading, world class operation for a company that expects to turn over half a billion pound next year. This schemes aim is to to provide a more sustainable solution to single use bottles and improve recycling rates. It is an exciting time to join a new company that is expanding quickly and who's mission is to create a more sustainable Scotland.

What your new role entails

  • Reporting to the Head of IT, working with our 3rd-party IT support provider as the key contact within CSL to provide first level support of common office IT facilities and establish and manage internal IT change and fault management processes
  • Coordinating the provision of IT resources and solutions for a fast growing team, ensuring appropriate asset and license management and support services.
  • Design and implement a corporate intranet (based on MS toolset), embodying appropriate access controls and structure.
  • Design, implement and support a collaborative document management solution (based on MS toolset) providing appropriate folder and file structures across the organisation to ensure appropriate information and access control.
  • Support Business Analysts and System Test teams to achieve implementation of core business systems

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Background and experience in system delivery and support processes and approaches
  • Collaboration toolsets
  • Decisive self-starter
  • Service orientated able to coordinate 3rd-party resources and manage user expectations.
  • Information and User Interface design skills
  • Excellent communicator able to convey technical issues to non-technical personnel in both written and verbal format.
  • Experience working with SharePoint and or working with intranets. (This can be through university or through work.)

What you will get in return

  • The successful candidate will receive a salary of £25k - £33k, dependent on experience
  • Hybrid work is supported, 3 days a week in the Glasgow office is required.
  • The job is Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours with no overtime or weekend work.
  • 25 days holiday plus 8 public which are flexible
