Business Analyst (Contract) - ERP Feasibility Programme

Contract - 6 months (to end October 2026)

Up to £500 per Inside IR35

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a major ERP Feasibility Programme in a key Public Sector organisation. Focused on assessing Unit4 vs Workday and/or Oracle ERP solutions, this role will play a key part in gathering requirements, mapping current processes, and supporting evaluation activity across HR, Finance and IT.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements
  • Map current-state processes and support future-state design discussions
  • Assist in analysing Unit4 vs Workday and Oracle ERP capabilities (and against business needs)
  • Support workshops, interviews, and stakeholder engagement
  • Contribute to feasibility reports, options appraisals, and programme documentation

Skills & Experience required should include:

  • Proven Business Analyst expertise across large ERP transformation programmes (ideally in the Scottish Public Sector)
  • Deep & demonstrable knowledge of Requirements Gathering & Processing Mapping, with a high attention to detail
  • Previous experience with Unit4, Workday and/or Oracle ERP
  • Strong background in HR, Finance and ERP-related change
  • Excellent People & Stakeholder Management skills will be essential for managing expectation & future change
