The right candidates must have a demonstrable background as a DevOps Engineer, ideally within corporate environments such as Financial Services and must have experience in AWS, Apache Kafka and previous experience working on Big Data related projects.
The successful candidate will be working on complex projects related to developing a data streaming capability from legacy mainframe sources to cloud-based data stores, in order to integrate with other data more effectively.
Along with strong Kafka and AWS DevOps technical skills, you must also have a friendly consultative and professional approach, combined with excellent communication skills.
The role can be based remotely with very occasional travel to London, and contractors are required to engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella company.
