As a professional recruiter, you will also be expected to comply with employment legislation and REC best practice.

This is a great opportunity to join our growing Head Contractor Solutions team and use your talents to effectively source and place candidates and manage and develop a sustainable client base across multiple industries.


Your key accountabilities will be:

1.Execution of revenue commitments

* Working closely with your clients to analyse and understand job specifications - it may also require you to be able to advise and assist your clients on specifications

* Managing the full recruitment life-cycle with your clients, including offer negotiation and facilitation of candidate starting

* Developing existing client relationships within accounts in order to identify new opportunities to increase levels of business in accounts, or cross-sell products or services

* Developing new client relationships through a variety of means including your own and company network

* Proactively working with candidates to build rapport, ensure suitability for the roles and establish commitment to the opportunities.

* Using the most appropriate tools to identify and assess suitability of candidates for positions

* Advising and coaching candidates on interviewing techniques, (including competency based interviews) and present strong shortlists for clients to review

* Participating in networking and client entertainment events to maximise opportunities to extend network and increase market knowledge

* Advising clients on market trends, skills availability and recruitment tools and techniques


2.Operational delivery

* Ensuring CRM (Bullhorn) is updated with all relevant information as required by the business

* Ensuring client and candidate data is securely stored and privacy / confidentiality are maintained

* Proactively act as a role model in behaviours and skills for Resource Consultants, sharing knowledge, best practice and feedback to colleagues

* Comply with company policies and procedures, REC best practice and health and safety and employment legislation


3.Risk Management

* Identify and evaluate potential risks to your client portfolio and provide recommendation to mitigate risk

* Proactively identify barriers to optimum individual and team performance, highlighting any areas of concern immediately

We would like you to have the following in your skill-set:

* Demonstrable experience within the UK Contract market, managing the end to end Contract recruitment process from both client and candidate perspectives
* Knowledge and understanding of the current legislation pertaining to professional contractors, including IR35 and the Off-payroll worker rules
* Experience sourcing CV's for Contract roles to tight deadlines (e.g. 48 - 72 hours)
* Successful track record within IT/Digital Recruitment (preferred but not essential)
* Working knowledge and competency with recruitment CRM systems - Bullhorn would be preferred but not essential
* A tenacious, honest, ethical and consultative approach
* Confident negotiator
* Strong organisational skills to be able to multitask and prioritise
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ideally have an established network of contacts within the Scottish Technology sector
* Confident using Social Media platforms including LinkedIn/Twitter and other online tools
