JOB TITLE: Change Manager

REPORTS TO: Director of IT & Change

CONTRACT: Permanent

RATE OF PAY: £50,000

LOCATION: Gourock (Remote working during Covid flexible working policy thereafter)


Our client - a multi award winning and well respected name within the transport industry has a new requirement for an experienced change manager who can demonstrate proven ability to lead teams to deliver complex business change projects across a geographically and functionally diverse environment; providing leadership to the teams by developing and motivating team members to achieve their project goals.

A key responsibility of this role will be to look across the Change portfolio, and to ensure there is business engagement for the change, that the business is ready for the change and that the underlying changes are adopted.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the effective delivery into the group of companies of business-critical projects and change initiatives.
* Establish and develop a network of change resources across functions across the entire business network, capable of driving and embedding new ways of working, working in collaboration with the Head Of Transformation.
* Develop and maintain the Change Roadmap and Journey model, and work with Group Comms to communicate this message effectively throughout the organisation to measurably improve the understanding and appreciation of the importance of Change within the organisation
* Manage and coordinate key reporting requirements including 'Change Impact Assessments', 'Business Readiness Assessments' and other reporting and forecasting processes
* Work with the Director of IT & Change, the Change Board, PMO, Project Managers and Change leads to ensure business readiness and governance activities are managed effectively
* Presents statistical change management data and enables the provision of change-related reports to the business at all levels


Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

* Lean/6 sigma qualification or experience desirable
* Understanding of operational business and performance
* Strong understanding of change management and culture development
* Knowledge of benefits management and governance
* Credible at all levels within the organisation
* Proven capability of delivering successful outcomes whilst maintaining strong working relationships with the business and leadership
* An expert planner who can build schedules, forecast and track tasks, and integrate activities to manage a number of moving parts/resource conflicts
* Strong facilitation, presentation, relationship management and influencing skills
* An analytical thinker who is comfortable with using a variety of tools to collate, analyse and present complex information
* Appreciation of agile methodology
