This client is planning exciting growth in Dublin to further develop their substantial, recurring revenue and existing customer base of top Global brands using their solution for Growth Optimisation, using machine learning.
We have been set a challenge of introducing the top technical talent to galvanise the team growth with a new hire of an Application Software Engineer.
As an Application Software Engineer you will help the product bring more value and more meaningful insights to a growing customer base, with a particular focus on data visualisation. You will own solutions across the stack using cutting-edge technologies, algorithms, and techniques, where you will have the opportunity to work with some of the world's top companies, helping them to achieve their user experience goals.
What you will do:
●Collaborate with a small, cross-functional team to prioritize and clarify product improvements
●Identify and implement minimal, well-crafted solutions
●Improve stability and maintainability of the codebases you work in
●Apply engineering best practices and design patterns
●Mentor and learn from other members of the team
What you will bring:
●A deep curiosity and drive to improve the customers' experience
●BS in CS / closely related field, or professional industry experience in a related role (5+ years preferred)
●Strong analytical skills
●Significant UI and application development experience (Javascript / Typescript)
●Full-stack experience (JavaScript / TypeScript, and Python preferred)
●Experience with Data Visualization
●Experience delivering large-scale cloud applications on AWS or similar
●Ability to communicate effectively with people of varying technical levels
●A drive for concise, readable code
●Statistics or UX backgrounds are a plus
