Application Developer (PL/SQL, C#, .NET)

Our Edinburgh based Asset Management client is looking for an experienced Developer to join their Client Service & Continuous Improvement team, sat within their Application development department. The ideal candidate will design and deliver solutions alongside having strong customer focus. An understanding of full software development is essential.
Initial Contract will be for 6 months and remotely based for the foreseeable (Edinburgh City Centre when eventually returning to the Office)

To be successful in this Contract, our Client is seeking an experienced Developer with knowledge & experience in the following areas:

*Strong Oracle PL/SQL Skills
*Good understanding and experience with C# and .NET Framework
*Excellent working practices regarding processes and source control (TFVC, Git or similar)
*A focus on maintainability, robustness and performance when designing solutions
*Adapt to different technologies used on project and continuous improvement work
*Experience and knowledge of agile methodologies (Kanban approach)
*Ability to communicate well with business stakeholders and end users in collaboration with Business Analysts to establish requirements

Desirable

*Winform experience
*Angular Development
*.NET Core
*RESTful services
*Exposure to one or more of Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes
*Exposure to OpenXML development
*Industry relevant experience or knowledge, specific to asset management
