The purpose of the Continuous Improvement team is to provide ongoing support and service to multiple client facing business areas within the organisation. The goal is to optimise existing client reporting applications so that they are functioning at their optimal level, creating a smooth end user experience. The department is responsible for bespoke and packaged software development, focusing on applications that are essential to the business, and making sure that they are equipped with the technological tools they need to develop and grow.
To be successful in this Contract, our Client is seeking an experienced Developer with knowledge & experience in the following areas:
*Strong C#, .NET Framework skills
*Experience with RESTful Services and Web Development
*Experienced database developer, SQL and Procedural coding (Oracle PL/SQL preferred but similar also suitable)
*Ability to communicate well with business stakeholders
*Adapt to different technologies used on project and continuous improvement work
Desirable experience
*Winforms experience
*Angular Development
*Knowledge of Azure DevOps (Pipelines/Builds/Boards)
*Exposure to one or more of Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes
*Exposure to OpenXML development
Starting as soon as possible, the role for the time being will be based remotely, however there may be a requirement come in to the city centre Edinburgh office every week or fortnight for 1 - 2 days as and when office based work resumes.
Engagement on the contract needs to be via an FCSA accredited Umbrella company.
