Head Resourcing are delighted to be working on behalf of the National Trust for Scotland to recruit an experienced permanent IT Manager for Service Delivery. Joining one of Scotland's best loved charitable organisations you will get the chance to deliver to a range of locations from castles to natural estates across the country.

You will help drive forward the technical development of the Trust, taking a leading role and owning the service delivery function.The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Providing service desk, network, hardware, software, telephony and IT communications across the organisation
- Owning the provision of server/desktop and security environments
- Developing the capability to monitor/report on KPI's/SLA's and recommending improvements across areas such as service requests, back-up, anti-virus and maintenance
- Developing/managing hardware/software asset register and advising on replacement strategies
- Working with 3rd Party Suppliers to ensure optimum availability for all end user departments
- Ensuring that the appropriate IT management processes are in place, documented, followed and reviewed
- Purchasing and disposing of IT equipment
- Managing the operational budget for the IT directorate
- Working with 3rd party partners to perform software and hardware upgrades
- Developing and maintaining service reviews with all outsourced and external partners

In order to be a suitable match for the role, candidates should demonstrate experience in:

- Senior IT Service management including significant line management experience
- MS Server desktop environments, O365, virtualisation, network management and cloud environment management (MS/Azure/AWS)
- Managing outsourced services, contractors and 3rd party providers
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with experience of working in an agile environment
- Working to and managing budgets
- Must be comfortable working closely with all levels of staff members and senior management
- Maintaining full system documentation
- Familiarity with ISF SOGP, PCI-DSS and GDPR data protection & regulations
- Exposure to MCSE, VMware, Cisco, Microsoft Dynamics Operations, Power BI and knowledge of EPoS systems is highly desirable but not essential.
