This position would be ideal for someone looking to step into a management role.
*To work closely with and support the Managing Director to enable and facilitate profitable growth.
*Deputise for the Managing Director.
*Direct responsibility for asset re-processing and value enhancement, together with asset fulfilment, logistics, security and warehousing.
*As a member of the SMT, lead continuous improvement of processes and service performance including identifying and managing targets/KPIs for continuous business improvement.
*Ensure performance aligns to the strategic goals of the business.
*Full operational responsibility for the management and performance of human and physical resources, value-add processes and service within budget, KPI and contract terms.
*Hands on planning and management to ensure deadlines are met and a high-quality standard of product, service and performance is maintained.
*Compliance to ISO standards and H&S and Employment legislation.
*Previous experience as a Business Operations Manager or in a similar role - possibly in a production/value-add process industry
*A minimum of 5 years relevant experience
*Excellent IT software/hardware knowledge and skills
*Demonstrable track record of operations and process improvement and change management
*The ability to interpret financial data and allocate budgets effectively
*Ability to engage and motivate others by demonstrating leadership
*Production and planning skills
*Understanding of stock management and fulfilment systems
*Ability to manage time and workload effectively
*Exceptional communication skills
*Highly organised, ambitious and self-motivated
*Drive to achieve results
