About this job.
You will work across the organisation's project and change initiatives, developing and embedding industry standard project and change management systems and processes, working closely with all Directors and other Heads of Department, ensuring the appropriate prioritisation of projects.
The key components to success in this exciting opportunity are:
*Ensure a coherent portfolio of change projects are developed, planned and implemented to support delivery of the organisations strategy.
*Implement the framework for project and change initiative delivery.
*Manage day to day change and project team delivery.
*Work with the internal communications team.
*Chair business wide project governance meetings and manage the projects budget.
To be successful in this exciting opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:
*Experience of leading & managing a Change department, covering Programme/Project Delivery, PMO and Continuous improvement activity.
*A strong understanding in change and delivery frameworks including a detailed understanding of the key deliverables required to effectively manage complex change programme (PRINCE2, Lean, Six Sigma, etc).
*Be able lead by example with strong project / change management skills
*Ability to remain focused and decisive when working to specific targets in a pressurised environment.
*Experience mentoring change / project teams and business stakeholders.
*Experience in consumer facing businesses in the retail energy sector.
