The Business IT Manager will take ownership, lead and manage all IT Solutions and services to aligned business areas, ensuring strategic alignment, this is an active and visible role in the leadership team where you will proactively contribute to IT strategies, ensuring the company remains competitive in an ever-changing market.
*Accountable for the development of the IT Roadmap, Strategy and Plan for aligned business areas ensuring a clear 3-5 year strategy is in place to meet business ambitions
*Accountable for establishing and leading the Portfolio Governance process across aligned business areas and leading the overall priority and shape of the IT portfolio for these areas
*Overall accountability for the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion both for aligned business areas and HUK wide change projects initiated by the aligned business areas.
*Initiate and build strong working relationships across aligned business areas, promoting technology and digital tends, innovation and opportunities to exploit these for business benefit and proactively bring thought leadership to aligned business areas on key digital trends.
*Motivate, lead and develop high performing business facing IT teams ensuring clear development, succession and talent management plans are in place and aligned with overall business direction. Ensure that team members have the skills and competencies required to achieve both individual and shared team goals, linked to business objectives.
*Lead the development of an integrated Solution Architecture plan for aligned business areas ensuring this is aligned with wider HUK and Heineken global architecture strategy and direction and manage and approve all solution delivery activity for aligned business areas ensuring appropriate development standards are defined and have been followed thus assuring overall delivery quality.
*Identify and develop strong relationships with technology partners to mature and deliver against the IT strategy for aligned business areas.
*Develop, maintain and approve the Annual Budget and Strategic Plan to meet the technology ambitions of the aligned business areas.
*Working with the leadership teams from assigned business areas, ensure compliance against Heineken policies, procedures and standards.
*10+ years IT experience of which at least 3 in a Technology leadership role
*Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, strategy building and influencing skills to achieve win-win outcomes
*Strategy planning and development
*Business partnering / relationship management, stakeholder management, account management
*Ability to build and leverage personal and professional networks
*Extensive knowledge of digital technologies and strategies, including all aspects of technology project life cycle.
*Commercially aware with keen business orientation and customer focus
*Financial process knowledge and business benefit realisation
*Portfolio leadership, capable of managing multiple conflicting priorities and deadlines
*Experience of leading ERP/SAP transformation programs would be highly desirable.
This role will be based in Edinburgh with occasional travel to London.
