About this job.
Working with the Agile (Scrum) team you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing public RESTful API's, which are used by large financial services around the world.
You'll be collaborating with the Product Owner, engineering team and customers to design these features from well scoped requirements which you will have helped to create. Day to day will include prototyping, building, testing and improving all features in the platform.
By delivering incremental blocks of functionality, using the latest technologies, you'll see your implementations through from start to finish and help to deliver real benefits to our customers quickly.
The product range is continually expanding, so they are looking for your suggestions and to carry out research which will help to improve the products, technology stack and working practices.

*Substantial commercial development experience.
oProven commercial experience with C# Web API Development (ASP.NET / MVC)
*Experience in creating, analysing, and evaluating solutions to complex domain problems and in articulating your design decisions to stakeholders and other team members
*Solid experience of SQL database and other storage technologies
*Strong knowledge of software development best practice - automated testing, continuous integration, SOLID principles, etc...
*Solid understanding of the Scrum framework
*Experience of mentoring other engineers, of peer review and process improvement
Nice to have
*Experience of designing, building and deploying cloud applications into Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
*Experience working in FinTech
*Understanding of web security best practices
*Passionate promoter of collaborative development
*Experience with Angular or a similar framework
*Experience working in a SaaS environment
*Experience with Azure Service Bus
*Experience with Azure Web and Worker Roles
