| Job Description | A leading organisation has an excellent opportunity for a proactive Procurement Manager. In this role you will be responsible for managing a team of 5, providing them with specialist advice and dealing with queries from staff, suppliers and contractors on a wide range of procurement issues. You must follow best practice procurement techniques, have the ability to work with staff and senior management across the business with the aim of re-engineering the way the business views procurement. In this role you will be working at a strategic and operational level and will be responsible for driving innovative procurement solutions. Previous experience of e-procurement together with experience of working in a public sector environment is highly desirable. You must have good leadership skills, be an excellent communicator, a relationship builder, have a good business focus and the ability to identify and drive forward change and improvements. MCIPS qualification is also highly desirable.
