Job Description	Our client is a successful and expanding software consultancy organisation working across a number of market sectors. Due to business wins they are currently expanding and are looking to bring on board a number of experienced software solution project managers. The roles will be varied and as well as managing projects, the role holder may at times also be responsible for requirement analysis responsibilities and general consulting engagements with external organisations. This is very much a client facing role and our client is looking for adaptable individuals who are committed to delivering excellent service. The responsibilities of this role include: · Understanding customers requirements and translating them into achievable delivery schedules · Developing project plans that ensure that deliveries meet high quality targets · Managing customer expectations and variations from the agreed plan · Managing the allocation of resources to achieve successful project delivery within agreed budgets · Managing multiple simultaneous projects, both fixed price and time and materials, ranging in value from £10,000 to £1,000,000 · Ensuring accurate project tracking of progress on deliverables and resource usage · Providing project reporting to ensure customers and the project team understand the project To be considered for this role candidates need to demonstrate the following skills and experience: · Extensive project management experience delivering software related projects and directly managing software development teams · Experience working for a consultancy/services organisation is highly desirable · Excellent communications skills and confidence to work in a client facing role · Project management methodology supported by a formal qualification · Prince2 registered or an understanding of Prince2 principles · MS Word and MS Excel MS Project · Candidates MUST have Experience of delivering to at least one of the following sectors: Oil & Gas, Utilities, Transport (in particular aviation) or Public Sector · Must be willing to travel to client''s sites across the UK as and when required This role is based in the western outskirts of Glasgow.
