Job Description	Our client is a successful and expanding software consultancy organisation working across a number of market sectors. Due to business wins they are currently building a new Coventry based team and are looking to bring on board 2 Java software designers/developers. You will work closely with highly talented software developers, being a key resource in delivering technical solutions to our client''s customers. The responsibilities of the role will vary according to customer engagement but ultimately you will need to be self-motivated, flexible and willing to apply yourself to whatever technical challenge you are faced with. You will be responsible for initial analysis, software design and development. To be considered for this role candidates need the following: * You must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of software engineering methodologies, Object Orientated Design, UML and n-tier systems development and architecture. * You must have proven development experience specifically with Java and Oracle and ideally at least one of these group of skills: * IBM Websphere Web Application Server * IBM Websphere Portal Server * IBM Web Seal * IBM Websphere Portal (Portlets) or * IBM Rational Software Architect * IBM Rational Policy Server or * Business Objects * Business Objects Data Integrator * Computer Science or related degree * CANDIDATES MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO CLIENT SITES WHEN REQUIRED. AT TIMES THIS COULD INVOLVE SPENDING NIGHTS AWAY FROM HOME Desirable experience includes: * JSF Portlets * JUnit * Hibernate * Cruise Control * RedHat Linux.
