An exciting PMO (project management office) analyst role has arisen within a financial services organisation based in Edinburgh.

This role will be responsible for delivering project and programme support to the IT and change department. It will include the following key duties:
- Supporting the creation of 12 - 18 month project delivery schedules by liaising with senior project managers
- Supporting PMs in the effective use of Clarity to make sure accurate information is maintained and available for planning and forecasting
- Providing summary management information to the IT and change management team, highlighting key actions to address particular issues
- Identifying where processes, used by the team and wider IT and change department, can be improved and then taking the initiative to deliver these changes
- Engaging with lead PMs and Heads of IT and Change

Candidates will require the following key skills and experience:
- Have previous PMO experience and have a deep understanding of programme and project support, demonstrating knowledge of managing programme/ project risks, change control and business cases
- Be proficient in project management principles, methods, techniques and tools to manage projects effectively from initiation through to implementation
- You will be an expert user of project management tools to manage project/ activity/ resourcing and so provide input to the overall IT and Change department planning activity
- You must be an experienced task manager who is driven and extremely organised
- Prince 2 certification is highly desirable
- Financial services experience will be of benefit
