Job Description	UML Modeller Edinburgh area Salary £35,000 - £38,000: DOE My client is currently recruiting for an experienced UML modeller to join their organisation. The successful candidate will carry out the following core duties: - Elicit business requirements and then analyse them to provide the business design for my clients internal applications and business services using UML - Project management of development projects - including creating project plans and then managing projects to those plans - Run and facilitate industry working groups This is a varied role that will require candidates to have considerable experience as a technical analyst using the following key skills outlined below: - Solid experience with Use Case Modelling and UML 2.0 - Experience of process modelling and Entity Relationship/ Data Modelling - Experience of requirements gathering - Exposure to XML technologies such as XSLT, XForms, XML Schema, XPath etc is highly desirable - Candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be confident facilitators and have strong presentation skills - Project management skills, using PRINCE2 would be advantageous - Candidates must be able to work well as part of a small team environment but also have the drive and motivation to work well autonomously.
