Job Description	Solutions Architect (Data warehouse experience essential) Central Edinburgh £45,000 - £65,000: DOE My client is a financial services organisation based in Edinburgh''s city centre. They are currently recruiting for a solutions architect with data warehousing skills to join their team. This role will define solutions which form the baseline for technical delivery in accordance with my client''s architectural governance and then ensure that the system solution continues to meet business needs and contributes to overall programme implementation. This role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Providing fit for purpose solutions to meet business needs within time, cost and quality standards - Acting as the link between IT, Business and Enterprise Architecture to ensure support of proposed IT solutions - Supporting analysis and requirements gathering to ensure the design of fit for purpose solutions - Conducting impact analysis in the event of changes to business requirements and/ or technical architectures/ platforms - Supporting the solutioning phases of projects, as well as, supporting the programme/ project manager in the delivery of solutions - Contributing to discussions around vendor selection in order to secure the most appropriate contracts If you wish to be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will be a solutions architect working in a financial services environment with experience of: - Data Warehousing and MI reporting projects - Creating technical design documentation - Domain knowledge of applications - Solutioning IT systems - Knowledge of business case creation and substantiation - Managing a range of stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers If you believe you have the required key skills and experience and wish to be considered for this role, please send your CV ASAP making your suitability clear.
