Job Description	Junior Java Software Developer Opportunities Edinburgh Salary: DOE My client is a fast growing organisation located on the south side of Edinburgh. As a result of continued growth and exciting projects lined up for 2010, they are looking to bring on a couple of developers to join their team. This is an extremely exciting time to join a forward thinking organisation! This role is a general development position which will involve a wide range of challenging opportunities to develop server and client side solutions; ranging from internal tools through to core company products. Most development is based around Java, Spring, Hibernate and general RDBMS. My client is looking for someone who doesn''t just think of technology as part of their day job - they would like to see candidates who take an active interest in development outside of work too. In order to be considered for this outstanding opportunity you will require the following key skills and experience: - Computer science related degree preferably 2:1 or above (or relevant qualifications) - Commercial Java development experience is highly desirable (graduates with some work experience developing in Java will also be considered) - Other technical skills of serious interest are: JavaScript/ JQuery, RDBMS, Front end web development, SQL Server, Hibernate, Spring, JSP, Tomcat - You must be extremely hard working and enjoy working as part of a team - Candidates should be enthusiastic developers who display a strong sense of ownership and pride in their code. You must be comfortable discussing your ideas to both technical peers and non-technical users.
