Job Description	Civil Engineer (Power )- Head Resourcing is currently working in partnership with one of the largest Energy Engineering Companies in the world. They currently require a Civil Engineer to join their Power Generation division in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in civil design activities in Power Generation or Transmission and Distribution, with involvement in the design & calculation process of Steel and Reinforced Concrete Structures. You will also have some experience in the field of hydraulics including; pipe and open channel conductions. Accountabilities * Contribute to the development of Pre-Contract development and Delivery of Projects by leading /supporting the technical part of the business investment. * Perform all duties with a strong emphasis on health, safety, quality, and environmental matters. * Assessment of new designs and applications in the civil area. You will be degree qualified - BEng with the following Knowledge & Experience: * A good knowledge of Engineering Methodology including: engineering documentation , engineering work processes, risk management, engineering scheduling. * Knowledge and experience of structural engineering including: reinforced concrete, continuum and soil mechanics, water circuits.
