Job Description	We are working with one of the largest energy engineering companies in the world, who are strategically growing their Energy and Constuction division in the UK and have a wide number of outstanding opportunities in Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved right from the start, leading to quick career progression whilst earning a market leading salary They require 4 Section (Group) Heads, to take responsibility for each of the following areas: Electrical Plant, Control and Protection, Civil and OHL/Cable. You will have direct responsibility for the management and quality of the outputs from a team of highly qualified and experienced professional transmission system engineers in their respective specific discipline areas of electrical plant, control & protection, civil structures and installation, and overhead lines & cables. You will be responsible for: -Developing, assessing and providing complex value engineering in your own discipline area to allow client to reduce asset lifecycle costs and make better investment planning assumptions in the development of the annual project program -The safe delivery of quality engineering for all projects, to the satisfaction of internal and client requirements for the relevant discipline area. -To lead and manage a team of 25+ professionally qualified engineers within discipline area to deliver high quality innovative outputs of basic and detailed designs whilst achieving high standard of Health and Safety performance, technical excellence and standards of customer service. As a key appointment in the business, you will be able to work collaboratively across the company and with the international technical department to create a global commodity of high quality, technically compliant and innovation whilst promoting the cross fertilisation of best practice and knowledge sharing. You will be familiar with OFGEM Requirements, considerable networks projects (132kv and above), able to adhere to all appropriate HAZOP and HAZID processes, UK Safety Procedures in combination with H&S legislation requirements, and Engineering requirements for transmission networks in the UK relevant to your discipline area Ideally you Will be a Chartered Engineer or an exceptional candidate with equivalent experience over a number of years and have the relevant engineering line management experience, having managed large numbers of diverse staff.
