| Job Description | An Investment bank is looking to recruit a senior business data analyst to join their team in Edinburgh. The senior business data analyst will work with the business to develop, implement and maintain quality data to support both business and client requirements and will also be involved in the specification and delivery of technical solutions.
The senior business data analyst will be required to analyse business needs, solve problems and identify and deliver solutions around inbound and outbound client data.
To be considered for this role you must have the following skills and experience:
- A strong track record within Investment banking or asset management environments
- Excellent business analysis or systems analyst experience - preferably data analyst, data quality or data architecture experience
- Experience of implementing or supporting data warehouse packages or in-house developed solutions
- The ability to write and execute SQL commands
- A strong understanding of relational databases
- Experienced in creating process workflow design diagrams and detailed business specifications.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, MS Project, Visio, workflow design software
- Exceptional communication skills - the ability to build and maintain relationships across business and IT functions, clients and third parties.
