| Job Description | I am working with a global leading, multi award winning technology company who are looking to appoint a Head of Public Sector sales. This position would be based in either London or Manchester and would cover the UK and EMEA. You would be responsible for developing and shaping a sales strategy for the sector and for initiating and leading large strategic deals with Public Sector clients. The ability and knowledge to build a sector-specific New Business sales team to support the projected sales growth created from the sales strategy, Qualified pipeline value/volume and the penetration of new markets. We are looking for a sales person and leader who has proven new business acquisition success within government organisations and has ideally successfully managed own profit and loss account by consistently achieving high growth new business levels within your sector and winning significant high-value sales deals. A track record in professional sales management with director level experience in building a strong disciplined team in your sector or similar is required. It would be expected that you would also have a senior-level contact network of influencers and decision makers in your sector.
