On 2nd October some of our IT team are sleeping out in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh, as part of the IT industry’s ByteNight. We will be ‘sleeping’ alongside ScotlandIS and other members of the Scottish IT community, with only an umbrella to keep off the elements.
It’s a serious problem - in the current economy even more young people face the despair of homelessness and with winter approaching we want to do all we can to help. We are raising funds for the work of Action for Children, who work with these young people, providing them with secure accommodation, and helping them access training and work.
